Local RE/MAX® Broker recipient of distinguished “REALTOR OF THE YEAR” AWARD.
The Toledo Board of Realtors® recognizes John Mangas of RE/MAX® Preferred Associates at Annual Meeting.
Toledo, OH, December 6, 2009: The Toledo Board of Realtors® presented the distinguished “Realtor of the Year” Award to RE/Max® Preferred Associates Broker/Co-Owner, John Mangas, at the association’s annual meeting. The “Realtor® of the Year” Award is presented to one member who has demonstrated outstanding voluntary service to the association and to the community including serving on various standing committees and outside organizations.
Especially notable in 2009 was Mr. Mangas’ leadership role in the Board’s RPAC fund raising activities, being a NORIS Director as well as his work with the United Way and the Children’s Miracle Network. “I am honored to receive this award,” stated Mr. Mangas. “The Toledo Board of Realtors® has so many generous members that give back to the community in a great many ways; so it was a wonderful surprise to be recognized among the membership.”
Broker/Co-Owner, Kathy Kuyoth said, “There isn’t anyone more deserving of this award than John. With our local economy in a recession and fundraising at an all time low, John made the RPAC event a total success and over $20,000 was raised. I am very proud of John and very grateful he is my partner.”
