Cince De Mayo Benefits Childrens Miracle Network RE/MAX Preferred Fundraiser for Children’s Miracle Network and Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
Toledo, Ohio. RE/MAX Preferred Associates hosted more than 375 guests at its seventh annual Cinco de Mayo party to benefit the important efforts of Children’s Miracle Network (CMN), and the Susan G. Komen for the Cure organizations. Held Thursday, May 1st at the Liquid Ultra Lounge in downtown Toledo, the event was underwritten is part by Gold Level sponsors that included Louisville Title, Midland Title & Escrow.
Kathy Kuyoth, one of the franchises two Broker/Owners, remarks, “This is a way for us to give something back to the community. We really wanted this year’s event to be special, so we invited The Menus, a rock ‘n roll band from Cincinnati to perform. They were a big draw and added a lot to the success of the evening.”
John Mangas, Broker/Owner, comments, “its always great fun to pull this event together. The support that our realtors and friends throughout the extended real estate industry show us is what really makes this a successful event for CMN and the Komen For The Cure Groups.”
Since RE/MAX became the exclusive real estate sponsor of Children’s Miracle Network in 1992, RE/MAX affiliates in the U.S. have raised more than $60 million for the charity. Terrie Bohannon, regional vice president, congratulates Kuyoth, Mangas and all their agents for a job well done. “Kathy and John continually contribute and provide outstanding leadership to the RE/MAX organization and their community alike. They have been recognized as leaders in many respects and this is best demonstrated by their recent fundraising efforts for Children’s Miracle Network and Komen for the Cure.”
Nicole Lyndes of the Toledo Chapter of the Children’s Miracle Network notes, “Whether they are helping at a hospital event or holding their own events on our behalf, RE/MAX Preferred Associates has provided the resources needed to brighten children’s lives during what are often the darkest times.
